![]() ![]() I have 2 teles and 2 Humbucker equipped guitars and play all kinds of different styles. Curious about the headroom comparison, but that’s not a big deal since I’m always able to mic up on gigs. Really like them both, especially the Ghia, just looking for something that I can get a little more gain without using a pedal while keeping it to a ‘less is more’ simple/raw circuit. Will I like the Trainwreck/British type flavor or the classic Fender Tweed flavor?Ĭurrently I use a Carmen Ghia and a Pro Jr IV. I’m sure they’re both great and I’d be happy with either, just not sure which one I’ll prefer. But the similarity is that they’re both relatively simple amps known for touch sensitivity and a pretty good amount of breakup and gain. I know it may be apples n oranges when it comes to the Z Wreck and the Fender. Right now I’m torn between a Z Wreck Jr and a 57 Custom Tweed Deluxe.or a clone of some sort, but really leaning towards the real hand-wired Fender reissue. ![]() ![]() Feel kinda like a noob asking for suggestions on such a personal preference question.but since it’s not easy for me to try any of these in person I’m just fishing for any and all advice before I invest a good chunk of $ into my next amp.
